December 2015

Haven't been keeping up the blog, but that's okay. I've been busy

Summer was spent doing the cover art and illustrations for the most recent Jackson Sugar novel - more than 30 full bleed drawings. I also assisted in editing this rather massive, wonderful novel.
Wanted Dead, and the first book in the series, Crazy Red, are available in paperback at Amazon, and as eBooks everywhere,

On the heels of this, I had further requests for my art - enough of them that I decided to eschew auditions for a time in favor of creating and selling my art.

Consequently, I'm happy to announce the opening on my Etsy Art store, either in late December or early January 2016: Art by Victoria Skye.  I will be selling sketches, drawings, and acrylic and pastel paintings, both ready to order and customized from images provided, and all at an affordable price.

Here's a  few images from my studio. Come visit the store if you see something you like, or let me paint something for you!

Home to Atlanta

March 8, 2015

It was a busy winter season between work, family and my long-awaited return to my Atlanta home.

Some recent happenings -

Val Morris has published the sequel to Monster Girl, Ghost in the Attic, (available at Amazon),and I was once again delighted to provide the cover illustration.
----
The Skum Rocks! movie Miami premiere and CHARLEE benefit performance was both fun and successful. I'm excited about the road ahead for these guys.

And finally, here's some of my favorite photos from recent shoots.

August 9
Its been quite a busy summer!

Enjoyed immensely working on the 48 hour Film Project here in Memphis last weekend, a short called The Worst That Could Happen.

New filming on the continuing adventures of Britney Bombshell begins in a few days.

Still wrapping up re-shoots on The Last Earth Girl Went to Space to Find God.

And Crazy Red, the novel I illustrated, is doing well in its first six weeks for sale on Amazon.  My face as Maggie on the cover is popping up everywhere!
I can't wait to begin work on the illustrations for Book Two, Wanted Dead.

See you next time!

July 16, 2014
So much going on this summer!

First, the novel I illustrated, Crazy Red by Kaley Craig, is doing great in its first month on Amazon. In fact, we've released a 2nd edition with a new cover, new art, and a smaller, more compact, size. That's the new cover above, with me as Maggie!

The Brittany Bombshell "B" Movie films are being well received, and we're making more of those, with a series finale anticipated for Halloween 2014.

And the final wrap-up filming for The Last Earth Girl Went to Space to Find God is to take place in the next few weeks. (The delay being caused by the time it akes to build a spaceship).

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Its been almost a month since my last post - but I've been really busy!

Jackson Sugar: Crazy Red, the new novel by Kaley Craig, has just been released on Amazon Kindle, and the paperback (my preferred way to read) should be available within the week!  And yours truly did the art work and illustrations!
And that's me on the cover as Maggie.
It's exciting to be a part of creating something - which is why I love acting - and I've been doing some of that, too.

Skum Rocks! the movie premiered at the Dances With Films Festival in Hollywood on May 30 (I play the disgruntled bride, Marsha).

I play a basketball fan in a commercial that will be airing later this year.

And I've been having lots of fun filming some shorts for the local Drive-In Movie here in Memphis that have been so well received, we're filming more. The shorts are shot as sci-fi B-Movie trailers, and I play the role of Britney Bombshell, a woman of questionable morals, who is murdered and dumped into a vat of toxic waste. But never fear, the toxic waste does a number on me, and I morph into a super-powered avenger of wrongs, laying waste to my killers and a few thousand zombies along the way. Fun stuff, right?

So how could I possibly be blue?

Drop me a note and let me know how your summer is going, or visit me over at my website. I'd love to her from you.
